I am so glad you are coming out your creative block, Natasha. Your new work is really lovely. I always enjoy seeing the progression in your art journey. I wonder if the block was due to the enormous amount of time and effort you give to your platforms, particularly as you have been concentrating on Patreon. Your platforms must take a huge amount of time and effort. Having said that, I love substack too. It's a lovely quiet place. Please keep posting.
Thanks Lesley! I'm so glad you like the new work. You're right about the block being partly due to spending so much time creating for (and trying to grow) both Patreon and YouTube. As you know, I have limited energy, and sometimes I find it very hard to give enough time, energy and focus to creating art - particularly when I want to push my work forward and not just keep painting the same thing in exactly the same way. That takes a lot of time and headspace, which I often don't have these days. But if I didn't have the support from Patreon (and to a lesser extent YouTube), I would feel even more pressure in certain ways. Anyway, it's hard trying to balance it all, and thank you for noticing that! x
